Grundy County Speedway

Grundy County Speedway is a 1/3-mile high-banked asphalt oval track located in Morris, Illinois, making it the lone Illinois stop on the Midwest Truck Series schedule and a great opportunity to bring competitive truck racing to fans south of the Wisconsin border. The track sits on the grounds of the Grundy County Fairgrounds and has a racing heritage dating back to 1971, though the area’s motorsports roots stretch back decades further through its predecessor, the Mazon Speed Bowl.

Over the years, Grundy County has hosted some of the biggest names in short track racing, including Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart, and Rusty Wallace, cementing its status as one of the most storied small ovals in the region.
