La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway is a 5/8-mile asphalt oval track located in West Salem, Wisconsin, near the Mississippi River in the heart of the Coulee Region, and holds the distinction of being the first NASCAR-sanctioned race track in the state of Wisconsin. The track originally opened as a dirt oval in 1957 and has grown into one of the premier short track facilities in the Midwest, drawing competitors and fans from across the region each season.

La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway is also home to the legendary Oktoberfest Race Weekend, the largest four-day racing event in the Midwest, drawing over 500 cars in multiple divisions and thousands of fans for a weekend of racing that is truly unlike anything else on the calendar.
